About Lumine

Some things are never forgotten.

The smell of warm metal. The coolness of a gemstone in your palm. The light that dances across an earring when you hold it up to the window.

Our grandmother knew all of this by heart.

In 1967, in a small workshop nestled in the hills of New Zealand's South Island, a woman with skilled hands and eyes that saw beauty where others didn't began creating jewellery. Not for fame. Not for fortune. But because she believed deeply that every woman deserves to feel special – every single day, not just on the big occasions.

She worked in silence, with patience, with love. Every piece carried something of her – a memory, a feeling, an unspoken promise.

Her jewellery was never just accessories. They were stories worn around the neck, on the ears, on the fingers.

Decades passed. The world changed.

But some things remain. Her legacy survived the years, passed from hand to hand, from generation to generation – until it reached us.

We are her grandchildren. And we chose to carry forward what she started: the belief that jewellery isn't about luxury, it's about identity. That a woman who feels beautiful can conquer the world.

Lumine was born from that conviction.

Our name means light – because our grandmother always said that a true piece of jewellery doesn't shine on its own. It shines because you wear it.

Today we bring carefully chosen jewellery, at accessible prices, straight to your door. We don't just sell pieces. We continue a story that began in 1967 – and we are proud of every chapter.

Welcome to the Lumine family.
